You do realise that in addition to Sinn Fein, both Fine Gael and Fianna Fail also trace their history back to the IRA?
I believe it's only the Irish Labour Party whose heritage does not include the 'RA.
Personally I'd be concerned if it was either Saroadh or Republican Sinn Fein who'd made these gains.

How can Ireland fuck up Britain. They're dependant on us as a market for their exports. The biggest thing they'll go for is unification. Another call for a referendum ho hum

Be interesting to see the impact it has on us. Could go either way. In terms of Brexit, as nationalists SF will want to fuck up Britain as much as possible so we need to hold the threat of a hard border over them. They're alos socialists though so will presumably look at taxing the fuck out of Google, Apple and all those other huge multinationals that are based there for the advantageous tax environment. If SF do tax these a lot more, then we are probably the natural home for them.
